I get asked these three questions more than anything when it comes to headshot sessions—so here’s how I usually respond:
How long does it take?
Most headshot sessions are about an 30-minutes to an hour. That gives us time to switch up outfits, try a few looks, and get a mix of expressions—so you’re not stuck with just one. We also take plenty of time to make sure you're feeling comfortable and confident in front of the camera, and not rushed through your session.
What should I wear?
Whatever reflects your vibe and your industry. Solid colors work well. Business formal if you’re corporate, but I’ve also shot business leaders in T-shirts. It's all about what feels right for yourself or your brand. I usually recommend staying with the basics--really neutral colors and without logos but never at the expense of you not being you.
Can I use one headshot everywhere?
You can—but I always suggest getting a little variety. One image for LinkedIn, one for speaking gigs, one for press or your website. Same person, different tone.

I can usually deliver your headshots in about 24 hours after your session. If you need them sooner, I do offer a rush service that can deliver by the next day at 8am.

Cottonwood Heights Studio Location
The studio is located in the beautiful Cottonwood Heights area with easy freeway access. It features an incredible 2,500 square feet of private shooting space offering several truly dynamic environments. The space is perfect for headshot and portrait photography of all types.
Downtown SLC Studio Location
The studio is located in the southwest corner of downtown of Salt Lake City. It is a loft-style studio, and features approximately 1,500sq. ft. of private shooting space with fantastic natural lighting and city vibe. Free on-site and street parking. The space is perfect for personal and commercial shoots of all types.
Do you need to update your current headshot?
Your headshot should stop the scroll and make people look at it and say, “Wow!”. If it's not doing that then your headshot is not working hard enough for you, and you're missing out on an important tool!

Custom Studio Headshot Sessions
You can always book online in Cottonwood Heights or Downtown for our most popular headshot sessions, but I also offer fully custom studio headshot sessions tailored for just what you're looking for.
These custom sessions last about 45 - 90 minutes, with cost depending on what type of headshot you're looking for, the number of outfits you'd like to photograph, backdrop/set colors and lighting selections, and any custom edits or retouching.
